Public Open Session on Station St

Glenbrook have issued us the following statement regarding Station Street redevelopment.

“We are in the early stages of developing a proposal for part of Station Street. This involves 43-45, 47, and 51-55 Station Street. This includes The Electric Cinema but does not include The Crown or the Old Rep Theatre.

We understand and recognise the upset the closure of the Electric Cinema has caused and what this might mean for Station Street's future, along with the concern this has created during uncertain times for Birmingham's cultural scene.

We therefore organised a public session, where all members of the community are welcome to attend, listen to the current approach, speak with the team, ask any questions, and leave feedback.”

The event details are as follows:

Date: 16th May 2024

Time: 12pm-7pm

Venue: Birmingham Open Media, 12 Dudley Street, Birmingham, B5 4EA

All are welcome to attend at any time during opening hours and there is no need to book in advance. Further information will also be made available online after the event, for anyone not able to attend.
