SOMETHING IS GOGH-ING ON IN SOUTHSIDE

It’s the news the whole region has been waiting for – Birmingham Hippodrome is back. The venue, which sits in the very heart of Southside, will play host to the UK premiere of Van Gogh Alive, a multi-sensory arts and entertainment experience for the whole family to enjoy.

Opening on the 8th of October, visitors to the installation can immerse themselves in the vibrant,

impressionist world of Van Gogh like never before. Iconic artworks such as Starry Night and the Sunflowers series have been admired for over a century, but this is something completely different – think soundscapes, interactive art stations and unique and immersive selfie rooms.

The Hippodrome has had its curtain down since March, and as one of the city’s most popular attractions it’s vital that the first phase of its reopening is a huge success – so order your tickets here and step inside the incredible mind of Vincent Van Gogh.
